When do move-ins and move-outs happen?
Move-ins typically happen a day or two before classes start for the term. When you order your bed, you'll tell us which term(s) you need it for and when you'll be on campus. We'll reach out to you from there with the specific time we will be delivering your bed. At the end of your rental term, we'll be in contact 1-2 weeks prior to moveouts with the pick-up day and time. Easy!
How do move-ins work? What if I need to cancel my bed reservation before the term starts?
We work hard to make the installation process completely hassle-free. Simply leave your door unlocked on our move-in day, and we'll be in and out to set up your bed for you. If your living arrangement requires someone to help let us in, we'll work with you to set that up.
For all cancellations made 72+ hours before our delivery date, we are happy to issue a refund in the form of a GBC store credit. Please fill out our contact form to request this.
What happens to my old mattress?
College policy prevents us from removing any furniture from your room, but don't worry: we'll pack up and store your old mattress underneath your new bed, which we elevate with complimentary bed risers. You'll never have to see that uncomfortable bed again.
Can I rent a bed if I don't live on campus?
Yes! We're happy to deliver your bed to you no matter where you live, whether it's a dorm, apartment, or house (off-campus deliveries are limited to ~5 miles away from campus). You'll be able to provide us details on your location and any special concerns when you check out.
Do you have discounts for ______?
Gratefull Bed is happy to partner with fraternities, sororities, clubs, and any other campus organizations to offer discounted pricing for high-volume orders. If you're in a situation that might qualify or have a specific discount request, fill out our contact form.
What if I have issues with my bed?
Our customers come first, and if you're unsatisfied with your bed for any reason, we offer a replacement mattress or store-credit guarantee. If we deem that a portion of the bed is broken or lost due to customer misuse or mishandling, we will ask you to reimburse us for that cost.
